Membership

Membership is open to all who are interested in and wish to support our aims. The Society welcomes individual members and corporate members. Please contact our membership secretary, Mrs Kathleen Hotson, on 01843 868835 for details or print out a membership application form.

Open Meetings for Society Members are held (usually with a speaker on local subjects) from September to April, see Events/Meetings. There are also Annual Dinners and an Annual General Meeting - see Programme of Events.

At our Annual General Meeting in March each year, consideration is given to the presentation of a Civic Pride Award. This award was first presented in 1989 "to encourage and reward projects within the scope of new buildings, restoration or conversion considered, in a twelve month period, to have improved the appearance of Broadstairs and St Peter's".
To make a nomination for the 2009 Civic Pride Award, members of The Society are invited to print out and return a nomination form, click here to download.

The Broadstairs Society meets monthly - September to April - in Park Hall, Pierremont Park, Broadstairs, at 7.30pm. New members and visitors (£1 per visit) are always welcome! Annual membership - £5.00 per person and £15 per annum for corporate membership.
Society Members also receive a quarterly newsletter which is published and distributed by The Society.
