Open meetings and social events 2012
The
Society meets from September to April on the second Tuesday of each
month. All meetings from September onwards are held in the 'old' Age
Concern building, Pierremont Gardens, Broadstairs. Open meetings begin
at 7.30pm.
For
details of the programme, please contact Mrs Kathleen Hotson or Mr
David Hotson on 01843 868835.
We
are usually entertained by a speaker, and refreshments (at a small
charge) are available during the evening. Society business is discussed,
together with any relevant local issues and any planning matters of
interest to The Society.
Our
Annual General Meeting is held at the end of March, and members are
provided with details. The Society endeavours to arrange several outings
each year, and other popular events include The Society Annual Dinner
in October and the Annual Buffet (with Quiz) in January. Other events
